BioRadar main screen: BIO RADAR header, selected point Rome Italy with coordinates, a circular cyan radar with a central marker and scanning beam, a 20/60/100 km radius selector and a START SCAN button — The radar is the interface: every scan queries real nature observation data.

BioRadar turns your phone into a flora and fauna scanner: tap START SCAN and the app queries iNaturalist, the citizen science platform with hundreds of millions of nature observations, to show you what has actually been spotted within 20, 60 or 100 km of where you are. Every species comes with a photo, its scientific name and its IUCN conservation status. When there's no connection, an offline archive of eight biomes — from Mediterranean to alpine, from tropical to boreal — still lets you explore the typical flora and fauna of each environment.

REAL-TIME SCANNER — live data from the iNaturalist community, not a static catalog
EIGHT OFFLINE BIOMES — a curated, bilingual Italian/English archive, always available without a network
FULL SPECIES CARDS — photo, scientific name, conservation status, Wikipedia summary
SAVED POINTS — store the coordinates of places you want to find again and rescan
ITALIAN / ENGLISH — fully bilingual interface, instant language switch
NO ACCOUNT — your location is only used to query iNaturalist; saved points stay on your phone

Scan results in BioRadar with 60 species detected, All/Flora/Fauna/Birds filters, and a list of species with photo, common name, scientific name and conservation code — including Yellow-legged Gull and Hooded Crow — A real scan, filterable by flora, fauna or taxonomic group.

Read this before using it BioRadar is an educational and exploratory tool: the information comes from the iNaturalist community and may contain inaccuracies. Do not use it to make decisions about the edibility, foraging or medicinal use of plants, mushrooms or animals — for that, always consult a qualified expert.
