DATA PROTOCOL ARCHIVE: PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

How this site handles (very little) data

Survival Apps is a static blog-portfolio. It's built to collect the bare minimum: no tracking cookies, no profiling, no sign-up, no form that sends data to third parties. This page explains, plainly, the one data processing that does happen.

Data controller

Benedetto Durante — Survival Apps. For any request about your data, contact: contatti@survival-apps.com.

Traffic statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics

To understand how many people read the archive and which transmissions get the most attention, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It's a privacy-minded web analytics tool:

Technically, a small script (a “beacon”) is loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com and sends this aggregate data to Cloudflare, which acts as the measurement service provider. No individual profiles are created, and it's not possible to trace anything back to a single person. More details in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, the infrastructure may log technical connection data (e.g. IP address, kept only for a short technical period and for security) needed to serve the pages and protect them from abuse. These logs are not used to profile visitors.

What we do NOT do

Your rights

Since we don't store any data that identifies you, there's no archive to pull you out of. But if you have questions about how data is handled, want more information, or wish to exercise the rights granted by the EU's GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, objection), write to contatti@survival-apps.com: the reply is human, not automated.

Less data collected, less data to protect. It's the same philosophy as the code: essential.
